Melissa has been wielding a camera since the age of 15, before the evolution of digital photography. When not sporting her camera, she’s a tough lady to nail down. This mama of two, avid rider of bikes and boards and full-time designer always makes time for beloved photo sessions, mini and full.

Glass Jar was a natural choice for our branding, but not a decision made without serious consideration. From a young age, photographer Melissa Sieja had a mild obsession with containers of all shapes and sizes. None more so than adorable and strange apothecary jars. Those found treasures of childhood were contained by the tangible metaphor that is Glass Jar. The ability to capture an instant paramount to all others is such a precious thing. To be given such trust is not to be taken lightly. These moments are fleeting, and deserve to be captured and cared for properly, stowed in a glass jar to be saved and kept fresh for eternity.
